SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT - GROUP PLACEMENT

This program places and trains individuals with disabilities in community employment. This setting enables clients to work in the community in groups of three to eight individuals with ongoing supervision provided by Heartland.

These groups provide clients with exposure to different types of job settings, thereby expanding their knowledge of work options and their marketable job skills.

Group placement also provides opportunities for clients to interact with others in the community and to make the transition to individual placement, if appropriate. This program is available in Eastern Madera & Mariposa Counties and the city of Madera.

This program is currently offered in Eastern Madera and the City of Madera.
